What does 'Kills 99.9% bacteria' really mean?
Pick up a hand sanitiser or surface and tool disinfectant and you're almost always guaranteed to read a claim such as "kills 99.9% bacteria". Sounds amazing right? Well, not when you start to break down the numbers.

With a hygiene product claiming it kills 99.9% bacteria, 1000 out of the 1 million is still sitting on the surface you've just sprayed or wiped down. Consider that most disinfectants like alcohol will take at least five minutes to achieve this and you realise the sanitiser isn't so powerful at disinfecting after all.

Disinfection inspired by your natural defence
Cleansing water is made from the natural antimicrobial active hypochlorous. It is an active made in our bodies by our immune system to fight off harmful infections.
Highly specialised killer immune cells, known as neutrophils, patrol our blood fighting bacterial infections. When detected the cell secretes an enzyme triggering a biochemical cascade that ultimately makes hypochlorous. This wonder substance then works very fast to break down the bacterial cell wall, killing it and eliminating the infection.
It's no surprise then that when made correctly, cleansing water is up to 100 times more powerful than bleach and works within seconds of contact. Due to its neutral charge it has the ability to infiltrate pretty much any microbe, including spores.
Yet, because it's made within us, it doesn't cause any irritation. Even if accidentally ingested (though we don't recommend drinking it) making it safe to use on the most sensitive individuals, even around babies.
Unfortunately not all cleansing waters are produced at the same quality. In fact most commercial hypochlorous is notoriously unstable and made without compliance to the Biocidal Products Regulation raising all sorts of issues from contamination with irritants like sodium hypochlorite (A.K.A bleach) to acidic formulations with low pH value.
Every bottle we make is made with high performance science perfected over 20 years. Our method is next to none. Using water, salt and a patented in-house electric node for production that has been rigorously vetted by the European Biocidal Products Regulation.
The outcome is the purest, most effective, pH balanced and stabilised cleansing water that has passed the highest standard of testing. This makes our propriety formulation like no other.

Did you know...
Blue disinfectants traditionally used in beauty salons release Volatile Organic Compounds into the air, contributing towards climate change and polluting indoor air quality. This can sometimes aggravate our lungs.
Traditional blue disinfectants also contaminate our drinking water supply. Poured down the tap it leaches into groundwater, posing risks to public health and the environment.
Traditional Blue Disinfectants are harmful to aquatic life. Made from Alkyl Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium (ADBAC), it's a stubborn chemical that persists in the environment, including our oceans for long periods of time.
